In this short editorial, the Editor-in-Chief explains the change in editorial policies and presents recent changes in design of Acta Medica Saliniana.
Future plans directed towards growth and development of the journal are also shortly described.

The listed authors warrant that they are the authors and sole owners of the submitted manuscript.
