In order to facilitate the access to our online edition, AMS will start using QR Codes. QR Code is short for Quick Response code (since they can be read easily by a cell phone). They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to your cell phone. QR Codes can store (and digitally present) a significant amount of data, including web links, geo coordinates, and text. The other key feature of QR Codes is that instead of requiring a hand-held scanner to scan them, many modern cell phones can perform the scanning. We are providing you with a QR Code that contains a URL leading to a mobile version of the current issue TOC. In the next few months we will further implement this technology with a sole purpose to ease the mobile access to our journal.
